Interbeing CEO Onari Hiroko to Speak at Symposium at the 90th Annual Convention of the Japanese Psychological Association

On September 4, 2026 (Friday), Onari Hiroko, Representative Director and CEO of Interbeing Co., Ltd., will speak as a presenter at the symposium “New Horizons in Understanding and Applying Emotion: Challenges in the Age of AI”, held as part of the 90th Annual Convention of the Japanese Psychological Association.

As AI increasingly makes it possible to capture and understand human emotions, how can this understanding be applied for the benefit of people and society? The symposium brings together researchers and practitioners with expertise in psychology and AI to explore this question and discuss new possibilities.

Onari Hiroko will give a presentation titled “The Voice Cannot Hide Emotion: Visualizing Emotion Through AI Voice Analysis and Its Applications in Support and Education.” The presentation will explore how emotions expressed through the human voice can be captured and visualized using AI, and how these insights can be applied to supporting people and advancing education.

Through dialogue across different fields, we hope this symposium will provide an opportunity to explore new possibilities for understanding human beings.
